Founded in 1991, Generations is committed to the prevention of sexual abuse by providing best practice in the assessment and treatment of at-risk youth and their families. Generations currently provides group home treatment for boys with a history of sexual behavior problems.
Generations is currently hiring for a part-time accountant. Ideal candidate should have experience with the following: - Financial Reporting: Preparing and presenting accurate financial statements (e.g., balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) in accordance with accounting standards.
- Budgeting: Assisting with the development and monitoring of budgets to ensure effective resource allocation.
- Grant Management: Tracking grant funds, preparing grant reports, and ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
- Fund Accounting: Managing funds from various sources, tracking expenses, and ensuring funds are used as intended.
- Tax Compliance: Preparing and filing necessary tax forms (e.g., IRS Form 990) and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Internal Controls: Establishing and monitoring internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.
- Audit Preparation: Preparing financial records for audits and coordinating with auditors.
- Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.
