Job summary:

At Hershey, people analytics is about more than just data—it’s about empowering our people and shaping the future of our organization. As a People Insights Analyst (1B), you will play a key role in generating actionable insights that support strategic HR decisions and organizational planning for talent management. You’ll leverage tools such as R or Power BI to pre-process data, automate reporting, and deliver clear, impactful analytics to HR and business leaders.

In this role, you will coordinate data collection and analysis, support the development and presentation of dashboards and reports, and contribute to process improvements for analytics operations. You’ll collaborate closely with analytics teams, HR leaders, and business stakeholders to turn workforce data into actionable intelligence that informs talent strategies and enhances the employee experience.

This position offers the opportunity to build technical skills, contribute to continuous improvement, and ensure high standards of data accuracy and governance. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates data collection and analysis for people insights.

  • Analyzes HR metrics to support strategic decision-making.

  • Supports external and internal reporting needs.

  • Supports reporting and presentation of insights to key stakeholders.

  • Coordinates process improvements for analytics operations.

  • Stakeholder interactions including collaborating with analytics teams, HR leaders, and business stakeholders.

  • Influence/Impact: Provides actionable insights to inform strategic HR decisions.


Required Skills and Education:

  • 1-3 years related experience
  • Proficiency in R or PowerBI for data pre-processing, automation, and advanced reporting

  • Data collection and analysis for HR insights

  • HR metrics interpretation and visualization

  • Reporting and presentation skills

  • Data accuracy, reconciliation and validation

  • Process improvement and workflow optimization
