Job Description
Assistant Project Manager
+ Manage project documents in the SSI file system and update contract set documents.
+ Implement document updates distribution to project stakeholders.
+ Review, track, and distribute RFIs; compose RFIs with oversight.
+ Process submittals and understand specifications and project plans.
+ Interpret construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
+ Compose meeting minutes and structure project meeting agendas.
+ Assist in developing and distributing bid documents for trade RFPs.
+ Track material deliveries against project submittals, quality, and quantity.
+ Compose construction status reports with photos and descriptions.
+ Develop construction schedules and produce 2-4-week lookaheads.
+ Assist in purchasing processes and write basic scopes of work.
+ Process project closeout documents and ensure completion.
+ Communicate effectively with clients and trades.
+ Analyze data and compile reports related to cost, POs, inventory, and scheduling.
+ Provide administrative support to the Construction Superintendent.
+ Coordinate projects and ensure timely task completion.
+ Perform data entry, maintain records, and proofread documents.
+ Monitor submission status and report to customers.
+ Collaborate to obtain signed Project Status Reports monthly.
+ Manage inbound/outbound cost accounting and SOVs.
+ Create and maintain PO, submittal/spec, and SO logs.
+ Prepare monthly job cost summary reports.
+ Coordinate subcontractors and communicate due dates.
Essential Skills
+ 2-5 years of experience in commercial/industrial MEP or construction environments.
+ Knowledge of commercial construction and remodeling trades.
+ Proficient in reading and understanding MEP drawings and schedules.
+ Familiarity with project management software including MS Office Suite and MS Project.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ APM certification from the PMI is preferred.
+ Experience with the Resident Management System (RMS) of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is preferred.
+ Ability to pass a drug screen and obtain a government secret clearance.
+ Ability to travel up to 25%.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
