Job Description
Duties:
- Experience in at least one of the following areas, with a willingness to learn: Corporate Law, Litigation.
- Research and writing complex legal issues.
- Appear in a court, arbitration, or other judicial tribunal.
- Analyze and summarize legal documents.
- Negotiate with outside parties regarding contracts or other legal disputes.
- Identify and/or anticipate potential legal problems; develop strategies to avoid costly litigation and reduce potential areas of risk.
- Perform due diligence in legal matters.
- Additional responsibilities, as directed by leadership.
The ideal candidate should have excellent attention to detail and research skills and possess great communication and organizational skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 0-1 years’ experience as a practicing attorney.
- Must have passed the New Jersey Bar.
- Must be a graduate of a law school accredited by the American Bar Association.
Pay: $75K-100K ( commensurate experience).
