Position Details We’re looking for a full-time Medical Biller to join our team in Columbus, OH. This on-site position is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, organized, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities - Log payments from insurance companies and patients, maintaining accurate records.
- Update billing addresses and contact details as needed.
- Follow up on delinquent payments, resolve denial instances, and file appeals.
- Submit claims and process billing data for insurance providers.
- Verify insurance benefits for new and existing clients.
Administrative Support: - Assist with faxing, answering calls, emails, and text messages.
Requirements - Minimum 1 year of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting.
- Associate’s Degree in Medical Billing, Coding, or a related field.
- Proficiency with:
- Google Suite
- Microsoft Excel and Word
- CMS 1500
- Availity platform
