Quality Assurance Inspector.


Pay Range: $65,000 – $70,000 annually.
Openings: 4 positions.
Schedule: Night shift with flexibility required.

Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced Building Quality Assurance Inspectors to join our client's team at NASA for a long-term construction project (18–24 months) focused primarily on roofing work. This is a hands-on field role responsible for ensuring all work meets project specifications, client requirements, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working night shifts with a flexible schedule to support project demands.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field inspections to verify compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality control requirements.
  • Oversee contractor work to ensure proper execution and adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Perform quality assurance surveillance on materials, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Document and report inspection results, ensuring issues are addressed promptly.
  • Complete required reports and maintain clear communication with the Quality Manager.
  • Participate in quality-related training and uphold company standards of integrity and excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with all site-specific safety protocols, including fall protection requirements.


Qualifications:

  • High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control inspections of construction projects (roofing experience highly desired).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and collaborate across teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Project a plus).
  • Commercial Building Inspector Certification preferred.
  • Experience with Government or NASA construction projects is a strong plus.


Additional Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident in order to obtain NASA Security/Badging clearance.
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License.
  • Must complete all required safety and awareness training.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
