Are you ready to take off on your next career with us?Job Summary The Security and Safety Operations Specialist will track and monitor potential or actual safety and security events around the Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) operation. The Security and Safety Operations Specialist will monitor all accessible CCTV Systems across North American WFS network from the centrally located SOC located and John F Kennedy International Airport. The Security and Safety Operations Specialist monitors multiple CCTV displays for suspicious, unusual, or hazardous activities. The Security and Safety Operations Specialist will ensure all appropriate actions and notification(s) are completed to mitigate any observed security and/or safety incidents to execute emergency SOC protocols as appropriate. They will be charged with documenting detailed records, logs and all required written reports as indicated in the SOC Standard Operating Procedures of activities as they occur during the shift and effectively report all appropriate emergency and non-emergency situations in real-time to the SOC Leader. The Security and Safety Operations Specialist will also monitor both domestic and worldwide security events that could impact WFS operations. This would include but is not limited to Nation-State conflicts, civil unrest, and political instability. The Security and Safety Operations Specialist will demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and agility to easily flex between tasks as they arise.Responsibilities
