Home Time: Daily
Average Earnings: $1,200/week
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced CDL-A truck drivers for intermodal operations serving the Midwest region. This is a home-daily position offering consistent night routes with competitive pay and excellent work-life balance.
Schedule
Night Shift:
- Monday - Friday: 7:00 PM - 4:00 AM
- Weekend: Saturday 12:01 AM - Monday 4:00 AM
Routes & Territory
Regional lanes covering:
- Chicago, Illinois
- Wisconsin
- Michigan
- Iowa
- Indiana
Compensation & Benefits
- Average Weekly Earnings: $1,200
- Night Differential: $0.06 per mile
- Weekend Differential: Available
- Stop Pay/Spiff Pay: Paid when loads are routed 3+ loaded miles

Job Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailer safely and efficiently on assigned intermodal routes
- Drop and hook operations at designated terminals and facilities
- Transport heavy, no-touch freight
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and terminal operations
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Minimum 6 months of verifiable CDL-A driving experience
- Clean driving record (MVR)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Must be able to work night shifts and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
- Intermodal or drop-and-hook experience
- Knowledge of Midwest routes
- Strong safety record
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Capable of entering/exiting cab multiple times per shift
- Able to perform vehicle inspections and hook/unhook trailers
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions
