Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida
- Strong interpersonal and administrative skills
- Knowledge of therapy principles, materials, and equipment
- Understanding of patient safety and treatment precautions
- Training in prescriptive devices (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation) preferred
- Experience with Medicare/third-party reimbursement and Net Health a plus
- Emotional stability and commitment to confidentiality
What You'll Do
- Deliver occupational therapy services under the direction of licensed therapists.
- Assist patients in developing, recovering, and maintaining daily living skills.
- Use modern therapeutic equipment and methods to promote recovery.
- Maintain accurate treatment documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
