We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions that support the organization’s analytics and business intelligence needs. This role plays a critical part in building robust data pipelines, integrating APIs, and ensuring high-quality data accessibility across the enterprise. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business and analytics teams to enhance data models, optimize reporting, and support data-driven decision-making. You will work with cutting-edge cloud technologies and data mesh architectures to deliver insights that drive operational excellence. Accountabilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to manage growing data volume and complexity.
  • Build and integrate APIs to support internal and external data consumption.
  • Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models and support business intelligence tools.
  • Implement monitoring systems to ensure data quality and accuracy across all production data sources.
  • Work with engineering teams and business units to define long-term data platform strategy.
  • Perform root cause analysis on data and processes to answer business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support data initiatives for machine learning, reporting, financial analysis, and marketing optimization.

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of Python experience and 5+ years of SQL experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling.
  • 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud services, including S3, Lambda, RDS, Step Functions, and Redshift.
  • 5+ years of experience developing data pipelines with PySpark or AWS Glue; AWS Certification preferred.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Preferred: experience with MSSQL, SSIS, SQL Studio, cloud development (AWS/GCP), data lakes, data warehouses, streaming platforms, and public records integration.
