Job Description

A family, in DC, Nantucket, and Palm Beach seeks a Domestic Couple to join their team  and assist with the year-around upkeep of their homes. 

 

Responsibilities include:

1. Detailed housekeeping, deep cleaning, and daily upkeep 

2. Household organization 

3. Laundry and Ironing

4. All cooking, following recipes, being extremely clean while cooking, all grocery shopping, maintaining the kitchen and pantry; meals include dinners, occasional lunches, and food for breakfast, with light serving 

5.Errands 

6. Handling mostly outdoor houseman duties including maintaining the pool and patio spaces, cleaning furniture, power washing, setting up furniture 

7. Some heavy lifting in and around the home 

8. Pet care 

9. Ironing 

10. Taking care of house plants

11. Daily house inspections.

12. Assuring that all systems in the house are in proper working order and arranging for any necessary repairs 

13. Supervision of vendors and service personnel, supervision of outside staff and part time housekeepers 

 

Both individuals must be able to pitch in and assist other staff wherever needed. Valid driver's licenses are a must as the roles will include some driving. Must be open to live in Nantucket private apartment on property. 

 

In DC and Palm Beach, the couple will have an apartment off property. The schedule is mainly Monday to Friday with flexible times. 2 days off per week with one of the days being the sole staff member working. They will work in conjunction with current household staff. Must be friendly, cheerful, energetic, and warm.

Salary range: 150-200K with benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k with 4% match, housing, and PTO (15 days paid vacation).
