Learn more about Employee Benefits ( **_Note: Eligibility for benefits may vary by location._** **Job Summary and Qualifications** **KG Technician** The EKG Tech functions as a resource person to physicians and their staff, family members and hospital staff. Prepare patients and perform Electrocardiograms, and other tests within their scope of practice. **What you will do in this role:** · You will operate electrocardiograph equipment to record electromotive variations in heart muscle actions. · You will prepare patients for electrocardiograms by explaining testing procedures, fastening to, and removing electrodes from specific areas of arms, legs, and chest. · You will enter patient demographic information into electrocardiograph. · You will clean, adjust and perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning. · You will perform pacer and loop recorder interrogations and follow-up processes. **What qualifications you will need:** Must have one or both of the following: 1. High School Diploma or GED Required 2. Completion of a recognized EKG training program preferred. 3. BCLS Certification Currently or received within 30 days of hire. 4.
