The Urbana Country Club is looking for motivated individuals with outgoing personalities to work in our golf department. These individuals will be tasked with a variety of duties. These duties will include member reception, maintaining a neat and clean bag storage area, keeping up with driving range operations, and keeping our fleet of 36 carts detailed and clean. Golf knowledge is a bonus but not necessary. Ultimately this job is a customer service position.
Requirements
This job is an outside position. Working in the elements is integral to the position. The applicant must have a driver’s license and be able to lift to 50 pounds. There are typically two shifts 7am-2pm & 2pm – dark. Our facility is open on weekends and holidays, and it is expected that the applicant will be able to work at that time. Applicants over 18 must be able to pass a drug & background check before starting the position.
Benefits
Pay for this position is $15 an hour plus tips. Tips are split evenly during each shift. There is limited availability for golf access. Employees should expect 20-30 hours weekly.
