We are currently partnering with a local home health agency to find the right candidate for the following position:

Personal Care Assistant

For the following counties:

• Cobb
• Fulton
• Dekalb
• Gwinnett

Responsibilities:

The Personal Care Assistant is responsible for carrying out health care and homemaker tasks, in accordance with the care plan developed by a registered nurse or licensed therapist, to assist an elderly or disabled client. These tasks include assistance with personal care, ambulation and exercise, and household services essential to the well-being of the client. The tasks are performed at the client’s home.

Tasks:

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and ambulating
• Assist with homemaker activities including: meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry and errands
• Assist with medically related tasks including: medication reminders and accompanying to medical appointments

Requirements:

• Current CNA certification in the state of Georgia - OR - successful completion of an exam and training completed in our office
• Reliable transportation
• Access to a smartphone or data connected device
• Experience with the elderly and disabled population is preferred
