Job Description

Our client, a top 10 global investment bank, provides institutional and corporate clients with sophisticated investment banking, M&A, research, and trading solutions. 

Vice Presidents work directly with Managing Directors during all facets of the M&A advisory transaction life cycle, including transaction development, transaction execution and transaction negotiation and strategy. Specific responsibilities include assisting with the preparation of market and operating analyses, information memoranda, marketing presentations, and financial and valuation analyses. Vice Presidents support Directors and Managing Directors during all phases of M&A execution, including supervising and developing Analysts, contributing to firm best practices and culture, and building industry relationships.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparing and participating in the delivery of client presentations
• Analyzing business plans and participating in due diligence sessions
• Drafting private and public marketing materials such as offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, and S-1s
• Compiling a variety of financial analyses such as valuation, pro forma, and three statement operational models
• Leading due diligence and drafting sessions
• Preparing and managing the delivery of internal deal memos and engagement letters
• Mentor junior team members

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university AND 4-5+ years of Investment Banking M&A experience
• Preference for Consumer experience but will consider sector switchers from Industrials, HC, Tech. Strong M&A reps a must. 
• MBA degree (or equivalent graduate degree) from an accredited college 
• Live in New York or willing to relocate
• Resourceful self-starter; able to work autonomously
• Demonstrated team player and leader
• No visas at this time
