Job Description

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of Land Surveying work experience.

Essential Functions:

• Researches, prepares and completes maps, exhibits, and legal descriptions using CAD software programs.
• Preparation of construction staking plans and cut sheets.
• Reviews topographic maps for accuracy.
• Conducts research for boundary establishment.
• Reviews Corner Records, Record of Surveys and Final Maps for accuracy. 
• The ability to run a field crew as a Party Chief.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of construction plans and staking procedures.
• Knowledge of Boundary, Topographic, and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.
• Knowledge of Legal Descriptions and Exhibits.
• Ability to interpret land records.
• Ability to perform quality control reviews of client deliverables.
• Knowledge of County mapping standards for Corner Records, Record of Surveys and Final Maps.

Education and Certifications Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associates Degree or Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience with AutoCAD is required.
• LSIT license prefered.
