**Job Title: Maintenance Manager**
**Job Description**
The Maintenance Manager oversees the Maintenance Department, schedules maintenance for the entire plant, and ensures that the mills are operational during required times. This role involves signing contracts for outside services and coordinating with outside contractors during onsite visits. The manager must keep the Preventative Maintenance program up-to-date and work with the Facility Administrator to identify billing requirements.
**Responsibilities**
+ Oversee the Maintenance Department and schedule plant maintenance.
+ Ensure mill operations during required times.
+ Execute contracts for outside services and coordinate contractor visits.
+ Maintain the Preventative Maintenance program.
+ Collaborate with the Facility Administrator to identify billing needs.
+ Work closely with department staff to schedule repairs.
+ Ensure compliance with state, federal, and internal EHS regulations.
+ Submit project permits and plans to city or county officials, as needed.
+ Manage plant security and assist in updating the Food Defense Plan.
+ Participate in the BRC and HACCP teams.
+ Ensure adherence to food safety regulations.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in maintenance management and supervision.
+ Ability to coordinate and schedule maintenance tasks and personnel.
+ Experience managing a team of at least five technicians.
+ Understanding of basic preventive maintenance schedules.
+ 3-4 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
+ 1+ years of supervisory experience.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Detail-oriented with a basic mechanical aptitude.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Teams).
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in submitting project permits and plans.
+ Experience in plant security and food safety regulations.

**Work Environment**
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 4 PM. You will lead a team of five maintenance technicians, ensuring effective and efficient plant operations.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Oakland, CA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
