MOBILE PHLEBOTOMIST/MEDICAL ASSISTANT - PER DIEM INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR

COVERAGE: TOBYHANNA AND SURROUNDING AREAS (MONROE COUNTY)
PAY RANGE: $25 - $40 PER EXAM

JOB DETAILS:

Must be willing to travel to the client's location for appointments. 20-mile radius from your home address.
Availability required is for 2-3 weekdays from 9 am - 1 pm and 1 Saturday morning a month, other availability to schedule clients would be a plus, including any afternoons or early evenings
Paid on a fee per case basis twice a month.
Accurately labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, documenting health histories, manual vital signs, and obtaining EKGs when needed (will train with our equipment ) EKG NOT A JOB REQUIREMENT
Call clients, schedule them, centrifuge SST, scan paperwork when finished & complete out in the portal, FedEx out all specimens. Clients can be for Insurance Policy purposes or Specialty Blood Draws for various reasons
Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
Current phlebotomy experience of 2 years, skilled in hand stick as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Professional, responsible, and self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.
Reliable transportation, current Driver's License & Auto insurance.
Must have a computer with internet access and a printer to print orders and documents.
YOU MUST SUPPLY YOUR OWN: BP cuffs (reg. & large). Stethoscope, scale that goes to 360 lbs., metal tape measure. Blood and urine kits will be provided to you along with a centrifuge and EKG machine if applicable
BACKGROUND CHECK AND URINE DRUG SCREEN REQUIRED.
