Job Description

A packer is responsible for preparing products for shipment by organizing, packing, and labeling them securely . Key duties include interpreting orders, conducting quality checks, using packing materials and equipment, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and keeping accurate records of shipments.

Core responsibilities

1. Order fulfillment:
2. Picking and arranging products according to order specifications and stacking them securely in containers.
3. Packaging and labeling:
4. Using proper packaging materials, sealing boxes, and applying accurate labels with correct shipping information.
5. Quality control:
6. Inspecting products for defects and ensuring all packages are sealed and ready for shipment.
7. Record keeping:
8. Accurately logging shipment details, orders, and inventory using a variety of methods, which may include scanners.
9. Equipment operation:
10. Using machinery like pallet wrappers, pallet jacks, or forklifts to move and prepare shipments.
11. Workplace maintenance:
12. Keeping the packing area clean, organized, and safe by following all safety protocols
