What You Will Be Doing
• Conduct individual and small-group coaching with PreK Guides, demonstrating effective techniques and recognizing measurable progress
• Create and facilitate play-based learning sessions integrating SEL, literacy, numeracy, and motor development, serving as a model for the instructional team
• Evaluate and standardize Guide documentation on a weekly basis to ensure rubric consistency and clarity, leading calibration meetings to maintain visibility of milestone achievement
• Develop family communications and facilitate team huddles to align goals and uphold shared standards that support campus-wide PreK readiness objectives

Basic Requirements
PreK Instructional Coach key responsibilities
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related discipline; Master's degree or specialized certifications preferred
• At least 5 years of professional experience in early childhood education, child development, or a comparable area
• Demonstrated experience facilitating group activities with young children between the ages of 3 and 5
• Documented success designing and executing play-based educational frameworks or curricula that promote developmental milestones, such as Montessori
• A minimum of 1 year coaching or supervising educator teams with accountability for performance outcomes
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to support family engagement and team coordination
• Legal authorization to work in the United States with no requirement for visa sponsorship
• Commitment to working onsite at the Alpha Austin campus, with relocation support available as needed

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
