What You Will Be Doing - Conduct individual and small-group coaching with PreK Guides, demonstrating effective techniques and recognizing measurable progress
- Create and facilitate play-based learning sessions integrating SEL, literacy, numeracy, and motor development, serving as a model for the instructional team
- Evaluate and standardize Guide documentation on a weekly basis to ensure rubric consistency and clarity, leading calibration meetings to maintain visibility of milestone achievement
- Develop family communications and facilitate team huddles to align goals and uphold shared standards that support campus-wide PreK readiness objectives
Basic Requirements PreK Instructional Coach key responsibilities - Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related discipline; Master's degree or specialized certifications preferred
- At least 5 years of professional experience in early childhood education, child development, or a comparable area
- Demonstrated experience facilitating group activities with young children between the ages of 3 and 5
- Documented success designing and executing play-based educational frameworks or curricula that promote developmental milestones, such as Montessori
- A minimum of 1 year coaching or supervising educator teams with accountability for performance outcomes
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to support family engagement and team coordination
- Legal authorization to work in the United States with no requirement for visa sponsorship
- Commitment to working onsite at the Alpha Austin campus, with relocation support available as needed
