- Lovelace Women’s Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.
Responsibilities - Responsible for applying professional clinical skills and expertise to the care and management of breastfeeding infants and lactating mothers.
- Responsible for the development, promotion and implementation of lactation support services to clinical staff, patients and community members.
- Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance .
Qualifications Job Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing
- One (1) year of training and program development experience
- Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
- Training: Intensified training in lactation
- BLS; NRP
- Current IBCLC or IBCLC Exam scheduled within one (1) year from date of hire
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
