Job Description

As a Sales Arborist, you will play a vital role in driving business growth by combining your technical expertise in arboriculture with strong sales and relationship-building skills. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team, provide expert guidance to clients, and contribute to the ongoing success of a respected company in the tree care industry.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact for all tree care service inquiries.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach, including cold calling, networking, and community engagement.
  • Conduct thorough on-site assessments to evaluate tree health, diagnose issues, and recommend appropriate care solutions.
  • Develop and present tailored proposals and bids that address client needs and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project progress using the company’s CRM system.
  • Identify opportunities to recommend additional services that enhance client satisfaction and support business growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, or a related field highly preferred.
  • ISA Certified Arborist certification required.
  • Proven success in sales within the tree or landscape industry.
  • Strong knowledge of arboriculture practices, tree care techniques, and tree species.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
