Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network , a progressive, academic health system in central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Neurology Department.

Job Description & Responsibilities 

1. Join an established group of Neurologists
2. Completely clinic-based and involves seeing outpatients with a variety of general neurology cases, including but not limited to post-stroke, headache, seizure disorder, neuropathies, Parkinson’s, and dementia.
3. Option to assist with following up inpatients and performing procedures such as lumbar punctures and Botox injections
4. Close collaboration with our staff of attending neurologists
5. 100% outpatient, weekdays with 4-day work week flexibility
6. No call, no weekends, no holidays
7. Full Epic EMR across the Network

9. Salary Range: $104,040 - $130,000 . This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief in the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
10. Sign-on Bonus up to $50,000

Job Qualifications

1. National certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
2. NYS licensure
3. BLS certification required
4. DEA required
