Position: Small Engine/ Lawn and Garden Technician
Location: Derr Equipment – Savannah, Missouri
Reports to: Service Manager
Derr Equipment is looking to expand and add another, full time Lawn and Garden Service Technician.
Essential Job Functions
Independently perform basic to complex diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance work on agricultural equipment
Complete legible and thorough documentation as required with work assignments
Effectively communicate equipment problems and resolutions to supervisor and customers
Attend appropriate, recommended training off-site
Maintain current product knowledge
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Must have own tools or ability to acquire them
Excellent mechanical aptitude
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Safety-minded work habits
Preferred Qualifications
Successful completion of a Tech School Program
Experience working on Case IH and/or large ag equipment.
Commercial Driver’s License
