Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Small Engines Mechanic to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot various small engine equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. This role requires expertise in diagnosing issues, performing preventative maintenance, and keeping accurate service records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair small engines, including lawnmowers, chainsaws, generators, and other power equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and belt adjustments.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, providing effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate service records and parts inventory.
• Order and replace necessary parts while ensuring cost-effective repairs.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members regarding repairs and maintenance schedules.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant certifications preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in small engine repair.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with gas-powered and battery-operated small engines.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly pay range: $22 - $25 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.
