Job Summary:


The Systems Testing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive testing plans and test cases to ensure the quality and integrity of IT systems. This role involves collaborating with business analysts, project managers, and IT teams to identify defects, perform various types of testing, and contribute to project planning and release management activities. The specialist will also be responsible for documenting findings, reporting on test results, and ensuring that systems meet business needs, security, and privacy standards.

Responsibilities:


- Participate in business requirements and use cases walkthroughs with Business Analysts.
- Develop and document comprehensive testing plans covering all types of testing for quality assurance.
- Develop and document comprehensive testing cases aligned with approved business requirements/use cases.
- Develop and execute testing checklists, ensuring completion through various testing stages.
- Troubleshoot technical issues that arise during testing.
- Perform end-to-end system functional or automated testing based on documented test cases.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing and new functionalities work as expected.
- Perform performance testing to ensure system integrity and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with the IT corporate team to perform vulnerability testing.
- Document all identified defects and re-test the resolved defects.
- Collaborate with the project manager on project planning, change, and release/implementation management activities.
- Contribute required QA artefacts to architecture checkpoints activities.
- Collaborate with business SMEs to perform/complete user acceptance testing and production acceptance testing.
- Conduct manual testing to supplement/validate automated test results.
- Compile, summarize, and report findings from automated and manual tests.
- Identify and coordinate the resolution of system defects, re-test and closeout systems related issues.
- Prepare reports, documentation and present solution functions to stakeholders.
